Typical Client Archetypes

Buckle in, its a long one.

Clients will often ask me about my other clients. Questions I regularly receive are:

• What is your usual demographic? (race, age, socioeconomic)
• Why do people usually come to see you?
• Do I ever say no to seeing a client?
• What is my most common session type and length?

Sometimes the questions seem to be a bid for connection, wanting to learn more about my life and my day-to-day, or curiosity about the industry itself.

But usually, the real question people are asking me is: Am I normal?

Some are seeking to feel special and different, while others seek a sense of belonging, that its okay for them to be there, that they are not an unusual case for me, that they are acceptable.

Some are seeking to be separated from the “riffraff” and want me to know that they are not like the “usual client”, they don’t usually do this, here are the special circumstances that led to their booking. This conversation usually leads into me telling them they actually are pretty much my “usual” and this follows into the above questions and a conversation about their unconscious internal biases against the sex industry and its clients.

So who is the stereotypical normal client and why do they come see me? There is no one specific type of guy, but here are a few common archetypes.

INTIMATE LOVERS – 34% of my client base

This group are seeking connection, sensual discovery, chemistry, steamy sessions. They want intimacy and warmth. They want me to enjoy myself at least as much as they are, but preferably more. Romantics, sensualists, and often neuro-spicy or have social anxiety. They either talk A LOT or hardly at all, depending on which way their nerves take them. They tell me about their lives and ask me about mine. Their text messages are always very considered, provide ample information while being concise. It is important to them that my experience of them is pleasant, and I love that so much. Its a big deal to them that they are seeing me, they thought about it for ages before booking.

Its their first time with a sexworker, or they have a great relationship with another worker, perhaps in another town. Some of them have ongoing strong connections with a handful of workers and occasionally bring us together for group sessions. These are always very delicious sensual group sessions.

They usually book Ember’s Choice, GFE or a Rise n Grind, Educational sessions, or extended sessions such as overnight sessions. They might go for an occasional kink session once they feel safe with me. They love my website, they read all of it before they contacted me. They appreciate how informative I am and they thank me for it.

• Normal people just like you.
• 65% are aged 44-52, 18% are aged 53-64, the rest are younger.
• 70% are Caucasian, often originally from other countries.
• 30% are South-Asian but usually born in Oz or have been here for a while.
• Mostly men, but not always, love my sensual sapphic sessions!
• Many are recently divorced or widowed a while ago.
• Some are married to work or travel too much to consider a romantic relationship.
• Others are new to the area or here on an extended business stay.
• Some are not ready to date but want intimacy in the meantime, others are actively dating but having met that special someone yet.
• They almost always book me in advance, sometimes weeks ahead. But they follow me on twitter so if I mention being available they might reach out for a short notice.
• They come from all walks of life, work in various industries, their only commonality is their vibe of being an all-round lovely person who is great at cuddles and even better at oral. They remember my preferences and build on them over time so every time we have sex is even better than the last time.

THE KINKSTERS – 25% of my client base

Freaks in the sheets! They’ve got a bucket list and they’re not afraid to use it. Well, sometimes they are a little scared, but they jump in anyway. Lets do weird things together! Some come for the same thing every time, others want to try something new each time. They want to meet all my friends. Again, here is comradery about sex drive and kinky interests. They bring a lot of curiosity and wide-eyed excitement and they always leave on a high note, saying they can’t wait to come back. These sessions are so much fun, usually involve a lot of joy, laughter and maybe a bit of mess. They also love my website, they don’t read every word but they want to find out what else we could do next time! They are like a kid in a candy store.

• Normal people just like you.
• 70% Caucasian, 25% Asian, a small number of South-Asian, Euro, Latino.
• Ages are pretty well distributed from late 20s-70s.
• Everyone I saw while on my recent tour to Canberra/Sydney was in this group.
• Far more common in Geelong than Melbourne – wow!
• Often freshly divorced, or want to try something they don’t think their partner would approve of, or they have permission from their partner.
• There’s been quite a few older guys in their YOLO-era also.
• My most popular kink activity is pegging session, but we get up to all sorts of different thing.
• Some are doing very well for themselves, some have saved up for this very special occasion or have a special bank account for these sorts of things and I’m just one of many lovely workers that they see on a regular basis. No pattern with types of industries they are in but often middle to upper management or business owners.
• Very respectful, very consent driven.
• Very thorough in their approach, will usually send ID before I ask for it. This is not their first hoe-deo.

SHORT NOTICE HORNY BOYS – 15% of my client base

Horny, horny men that want to see me as soon as possible for some hot sexy sex. If I’m not readily available they will book someone else, sometimes a friend of mine that I have suggested they try. They like 30 mins to an hour, but the type of session varies quite a bit from the vanilla to the very kinky. Lovely enthusiastic guys who get straight down to business. Usually time-poor business men or tradesmen who are supposed to be at work but it’s been quiet or a meeting got cancelled. They actually end up being my most regular regulars, even though their availability is sporadic. There is a sense of comradery with them, I’m horny, they are horny, sex is fun, my job is so cool, we can relate. They also love a 3-way if I have a friend visiting. No sexual hang-ups, its light, its fun.

• Normal people just like you
• 60% are Caucasian, 40% are South-Asian.
• 43% are aged 36-43 (Elder Millennials) and are married, or just don’t have time or the desire for dating, or they are new to the area.
• 28% are aged 23-28 (Gen Z) – these ones are usually single but too busy to mingle, are putting their career development first, new to the area, or they have cultural reasons for not dating and just want some easy casual sex in the meantime.
• They are well dressed even if they work from home, or alternatively they are in filthy high-vis. Both types will leave their shoes at my door.
• No-nonsense, respectful, easy-going, happy to be here, must be on their way immediately afterwards though.

THE ONES WHO DESERVE A LITTLE TREAT – 15% of my client base

They are either celebrating something, or they have been going through the wars recently and need a pick-me-up. They deserve a little treat and they’ve decided that spending some time with me (and perhaps a friend of mine) is exactly what they need. They may have savings put aside for just this occasion. The type of session they book varies pretty evenly across all the options, with a slight leaning towards Group Sessions such as 3-ways. They intend to enjoy themselves, and boy do they.

• Normal people just like you
• Age groups are evenly distributed 23-43
• Often work in an office environment, usually not upper-management types
• 66% Caucasian, 33% Euro/Latino (I find this so interesting)
• Super respectful, appreciative, enthusiastic, they really get into it
• Will receive a delightful thank you message shortly after our session, then I will not hear from them for a couple months

THE STUDENTS AND THE VIRGINS – 10% of my client base

Those that want to have sex for the first time, to get better at it, or to try something completely new. Usually very nervous and very excited at the same time. They always book in advance. Quite a few are South-Asian men in their 20s who are new to the country and want to catch up on the sex education they missed out on growing up. Lots of questions, lots of exploring, big chats, sometimes they will book a session with the intention of having sex and we just end up talking the whole time because turns out thats what they needed. Occasionally, a married man will come to talk about his wife and their relationship, and get advice on how to improve their sex life, or even bring questions from her to ask me. Sometimes these sessions are queer exploration, or chats about sexuality and various kinks.

• Normal people just like you.
• 70% aged 18-23, the rest are all over the map.
• 50/50 Caucasian/South-Asian.
• Younger group so usually students or work in retail or construction.
• Usually see them a few times then they go out into the world and I never hear from them again.
• They will follow me on Onlyfans for months before they book me and will also book digital sessions.

THE PEOPLE I DON’T SEE

• Dirty old men and creepy uncles in trench coats who live in alleyways
• Terrifying gang members and drug dealers
• Disrespectful, lecherous dudes who hate women and treat me like a piece of meat
• Morally questionable predators
• Podcast boys who think they shouldn’t have to pay for it (because they don’t pay for it, so that works out pretty well)
• Stinky, smelly, unwashed people

THE PEOPLE I DO SEE

• Anyone who approaches me respectfully and provides the requested info.
• Your doctor, dentist, chiropractor and your psychologist.
• Your plumber, electrician and landscaper (so many landscapers!).
• Your financial planner, your mortgage broker, your real estate agent.
• The guy who cleaned your car last week.
• The guy bagging your groceries at the supermarket.
• The chef at your favourite restaurant (actually lots of them).
• Pretty much anyone who is studying Engineering at Deakin.
• So many I.T. guys.
• Bus drivers and truck drivers.
• Your co-workers – I do have multiple clients from the same workplaces. I don’t know if they know each other as I would not out someone by mentioning it. But if you talk about me, I want you to know I think that’s hot and I appreciate referrals.
• Your dad, your granddad, your brother, your cousin, your son too if he’s 18+
• Your mum (I had to – but seriously, give her my number).
• Conventionally attractive muscle bound manly cis-het men.
• Athletes, cyclists, footy players, cricket guys and at least one Olympic medalist.
• Big softie dadbod big boys with hairy chests and beards.
• Bisexual magician types with fastidious hair removal practices.
• Well-travelled, well-dressed wealthy men who smell incredible and wow your sweater is so soft what is this even made of?
• Guys who got a haircut especially for our booking.
• Guys who shaved their balls for me.
• Guys with novelty underwear.
• People covered in cool tattoos.
• Hot younger guys.
• Hot older guys, love me a silver fox.
• Deliciously sensual CIS and Trans women and non-binary folk.
• Guys so tall that I have to stand on my bed to kiss them.
• Guys small enough that I could pick them up if they want me to (happy to).
• Guys much shorter than me (I’m 5’4″).

• People of all ethnicities. I started tracking this metric specifically for this blog post. I often have South-Asian babes worried they will not be welcome, due to the amount of discrimination they face in this industry. I wanted to provide statistics here so they will know they are normal, okay and welcome here.
• Richard. Everyone sees Richard. Boy does he get around.

WHAT IS THE WEIRDEST BOOKING YOU’VE EVER HAD?

This booking, where you’re asking me all these questions about other clients, that’s the weirdest booking! I encourage clients to stay in the moment with me, and focus on our time together, rather than letting your mind race about my experiences with other clients. Being mindful and present during our session will lead to a more pleasurable sexual experience.

I’m also never sure if these questions come from a place of curiosity, nervousness, fetish, or jealousy, so I am hesitant to lean into these types of conversations.

But of course, if you’re feeling nervous and want to have a chat to fill in time, and these are the things that pop into your head, I totally understand. While I tend to go quiet when I’m nervous, I do have several friends that are nervous chatters, so I am familiar with this vibe.

• Have you travelled much? Where have you been?
• Have you read any good books lately? What are they about?
• What kinds of TV or movies do you enjoy? Have you seen ……?
• What is your most common Ubereats order?
• Did you grow up here?
• What sort of kink sessions do you enjoy most?
• What do you do for fun, outside work?
• What got you into sexwork?
• What is your favourite sexual position?
• What kind of foreplay do you love that I could be doing more of?

MY MOST COMMON SESSION TYPE

My most common session type is Ember’s Choice – its definitely a crowd favourite, at almost 50% of my bookings. I think that’s because my most common type of client are the Intimacy seekers, who want real connection. They go for Ember’s Choice so they can have the most authentic experience with me. I am authentic during all session types and never do anything I don’t want to. But with Ember’s Choice the ball is completely in my court so they can feel extra-safe that I wouldn’t be doing anything I didn’t want to do.

It’s also cheaper than GFE, so some of my Short Notice Horny Boys will choose a 30min EC if they are not too fussed what kind of sex they have as long as its hot.
